Prayer and Thanksgiving

  • Jo is settling in well. Keep her in prayer as she is working through 2 submissions this week. Thank God too for her healing.
  • Pray for Victoria as she has stomach flu due to the after effects of medication.
  • Uncle Derrick is also recovering from gastric flu. Continue to pray for the healing and restoration of his health. Pray for adjustments as he works with his next boss, and that he/she will be a good boss. Pray also for Uncle D as he seeks God's direction in his professional path.
  • Pray for Samuel for the healing of his rash.
  • Vinson thanked God that his exams are over. Pray with him for direction as he deliberates whether to continue in the world skills competition.
  • Keep Rebecca and Weijie as they travel to Chiang Mai (20th-30th Dec).
  • Keep Ellyna in prayer for the healing of her headache and her health. Also pray with her for sustenance at work.
  • Pray for Jon as he works through intensive filming projects these 2 weeks. Pray particularly for good weather. Jon also gave thanks for a small miracle as God provided him transport home even though he thought he'd missed the last bus home.
  • Tian and Shu have officially signed on as teachers.
  • Mich Tay gave thanks as she is happy with her job and the opportunities. She praised God for the christian fellowship she shares with her colleagues and also for the bible study group that she and her friend are starting.
  • Aunty Grace has gone back to work. Pray for her as she deals with stress and assignments that are to be completed. Pray also that the headache from her H1N1 jab will subside.

Prayer and Thanksgiving

Announcement!
Joshua’s 3rd birthday party on the 13th of Dec, at Dan and Ani’s place, 1pm.

  • Gary, Nicholas, and Aaron are off fishing at the kelong. Pray for safety and fellowship in faith.
  • Uncle Derrick’s family is in San Francisco now. Pray for them as they travel to NY and meet Jo. Pray for safekeeping and for their health and a good time of family bonding.
  • Pray for Daniel as he hasn’t been feeling too well, probably due to stress.
  • Shu wants to thank God that her online purchase (a gift from her mom) has arrived! She thought that it was lost in transition. Pray for her as she’s going for grading on Sunday. Pray that God’s grace and favour will be upon her. (she passed!) She also lost her handphone. Pray that she will be provided with a working handphone.
  • Thank God that the printing company was able to deliver the CDs to the church on Wednesday. Continue to pray in faith for the sales of the CD. Pray also for those who listen to the music, that they will be blessed by the music.
  • Lingwei is spending a month with Jo. Pray for a wonderful experience and a good time of fellowship for the both of them. Thank God that Jo is able to sleep well now (: and also for providing Jo and Lingwei with some extra cash through an ad hoc job.
  • Pray for Serene’s last paper on Monday. Pray with her as it is one of her most stressful paper.
  • Keep Charlie in prayer as he is not feeling well.
  • Pray for Anisia as she has to rewrite a syllabus. Pray that God will grant her the strength and wisdom to manage the stress well and do a good job.
  • Mich Tay gave thanks that she is well and is kept healthy even though her colleagues have been falling ill. She gave thanks too that she passed her IPPT well.
  • Linda passed her driving!
  • Rebecca and Wei Jie will be going to an orphanage in Chiang Mai this Christmas.
  • Ellyna thanked God for providing even though her flight was delayed on her way home to Jakarta, as she got an air ticket for a very good price. Her week was tough at work as many were on leave. She thanked God that He provided strength, wisdom, and miracles for her at work despite the very stressful conditions.
  • Pray for McKen as he’s running a marathon on Sunday. Pray that his knee will recover and be well rested.
  • Pray for Aunty Elsie as she’s going for an eye check on Monday. Pray that the review will be positive and informative.
  • Tian gave thanks for a job provision.
  • Continue to keep Pastor in prayer for his ankle, as pain has been acting up recently.

Prayer and Thanksgiving

  • Keep Ellyna in prayer as she is now in Jakarta.
  • Pray for Darren as he recovers from his accident. Pray for God’s healing to be upon him.
  • Give thanks that God has provided divinely for Joanna with a really nice apartment and also for her lifted spirits.
  • Pray that the CD can be released on the 3rd of Dec.
  • Shu thanked God that her examinations are over! She thanked God for seeing her through, and that this semester is over, for providing people around who carried her through with practical and emotional support. Pray for her wrist too, that it will heal before her Kendo grading next week.
  • Continue to keep the university students in prayer as their examinations continue.
  • Pray for Aunty Grace as she continues to travel. Thank God that her work objectives were met at her first two destinations. Pray that her last leg of work will be fruitful as well. Pray for her health and safety.
  • Uncle Derrick is feeling much better than last week. But there is still pain along his left arm. Pray that the cold will not affect it, and that his arm will be healed.
  • Pray for Emmanuel as he is still not recovered from his bad throat.
  • Continue to pray for Samuel as he continues to strive as a student and a child of God.
  • Serene’s laptop was accidentally short circuited. Pray that it will be restored.
  • Eunice thanked God for the safe trip, and for God’s protection as they journeyed to and fro from Genting. She gave thanks that there was no rain along mountainous roads.
  • Reminder! Keep your 25th Dec 4.30pm free to celebrate Christmas with the church (:
