Prayer and Thanksgiving 

Sharing 24/10/09

  • Pray with Jo as she struggles with her roach situation, and also for the rental of her new apartment. Pray that God will provide a way for her.
  • Continue to pray over the CD production. Praise be to God for the provision of excellent musicians and for His movement in this production process. Pray with the church as the CD production enters its final and most crucial stage with the vocalists. Pray also for a designer for the album cover. Thank you Lord for Your encouragement.
  • Vinson gave thanks for his good timetable this semester.
  • Aunty Grace gave thanks to God for making a way. Her maid as re-signed the contract for another 2 years. Pray for Aunty Grace's safekeeping as she's overseas now.
  • Keep Uncle Derrick and his team in prayer for wisdom, and that they will progress in resolving technical issues. He gave thanks to God for a good team. Also pray with him as he seeks God's direction in his counseling work.
  • Shu fell sick last sunday. Pray that God will heal and that her voice will clear up as soon as possible.
  • Pray for Pastor Jason and the council as the convene. Pray that God will continually provide the wisdom to make good decisions.

Prayer and Thanksgiving

  • Thank you Jesus that our CD production is progressing well. Pray for the CD production team that God will keep them in health and strength.
  • Keep Pastor in prayer as his hernia is giving him problems. Pray for God’s healing and His guidance.
  • Vincent thanked god that his diploma plus is over.
  • Aunty Elsie thanked God for healing of her throat.
  • Pray for Tian and Shu as they await God’s direction, and whether or not they should accept the teaching offer.
  • Tian gave thanks for the christian fellowship among her geography classmates. Pray too that she can see her hard disk again.
  • Serene thanked God for sustenance throughout this week. She thanked god too that her hall charges have been waived. She applied for an internship to Taiwan(working with an NGO) either in Dec or May. Pray for her interview this Wednesday.
  • Jo’s apartment in NY is infested with cockroaches! Pray that God will keep her protected and that He will remove all the undesired little squatters.
  • Pray the safekeeping of Mich Tay’s sister is on a business trip in china.
  • Pray for Uncle Derrick’s work situation, that God will provide the resource to solve their problem. Thank god that the team of consultants are cooperative. Pray for God’s arrangement for their project with their customers.
  • Pray for God will grant Aunty Florence rest, sustenance and rejuvenation. (:
  • Pray with Aunty Grace and family for God’s timely provision of a maid.

Prayer and Thanksgiving 

Sharing 10/10/09

  • Continue to pray for the production of the church CD. Pray for sustenance for the people involved in the production, especially for shu, dan, and jon, as well as the other vocalists. Pray for good health, and for discipline to keep to our schedule. Pray also for the funding of the CD, and for the continual development of the worship team.
  • Ellyna thanked God for the confirmation of her work.
  • Dan thanked god for the provision of a caretaker for Charissa (his father-in-law). Keep Aunty Elsie in prayer as she’s ill, and pray for her healing.
  • Mich Tay will be up for ushering duty this week. Keep her in prayer that God will take her anxiousness away.
  • Pray for Xiu Xiu’s father-in-law, who is still in the emergency observation room. Pray for healing and salvation. Also continue to pray for the provision of her room.
  • Pray for Gary, Kevin, Emmanuel and Nicholas as they sit for their exams this week.
  • Ani is still facing problems with her class. Pray for a good spirit in the class.
  • Pray for Sam as he sits for his Science PSLE on Monday (last paper!)
  • Shu thanked God that she survived the two most terrible weeks of her Uni life. Continue to pray for her especially for the coming weeks with the production of the CD.
  • Continue to keep Jo in prayer, as she misses home. (we miss you too!) She has a paper due in 6 days time.
  • Pray for Uncle Derrick’s work team as they deal with problems. Pray for the provision of resource and wisdom so that they may proceed with their project plan. Continue to pray for God’s wisdom for the family that Uncle Derrick is working with as they make major decisions.
  • Pray with Aunty Grace for the provision of a good maid. Thank God for good timing too as her business trip was delayed (so she can settle the rearrangements).

Prayer and Thanksgiving

  • Thank God that Jo is settling in well. She is also planning to get a job. Pray for her that she will get the job so that she can have more savings.
  • Pray for Shu as she has 3 tests and 2 assign papers due this week, and a test next Monday.
  • Pray for wisdom for Uncle Derrick as he handles family therapy. Pray for the parents as well, for good communication them and their son, pray for courage, wisdom, and above all, love. Pray for a positive outcome as he meets a director at work this week.
