Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates 

  • Auntie Florence gave thanks for the fuss-free operation last week, she was thankful for the peace and calm she experienced before her surgery. Pray for her as she recuperates. She also requested prayer for Darren who is away on field camp training.
  • Keep Selwyn in prayer as he returns home on the 29th April.
  • Peiqi gave thanks for a lesson-free week, she's also thankful that her timetable is to her liking, allowing her to make time for service on Saturday.
  • Vinson gave thanks for a great timetable. He's excited to begin on several new modules, but they are taxing in terms of time, and he hopes to be able to manage.
  • Pray for Serene as she has one final paper and is finding it hard to concentrate on revision. She's also thankful that she has secured a home- stay host family in Germany despite the limited number.
  • Pray for Daniel's recovery as he is down with flu, however, he's thankful for Joshua's quick recovery/protection after coming down with a slight fever.
  • Linda gave thanks that she's cleared round2 of the scholarship interview. Pray for her as she prepares for the final round consisting a panel interview with the CEO.
  • Shu and Beck gave thanks that the exam papers have been pretty smooth.They are grateful for God's aid and love throughout the process.
  • Emmanuel requested prayer for his media exam on Sat.
  • Uncle Jeff gave thanks for God's protection after a domestic mishap with a glass frame.
  • Pray for Uncle D as he's still recovering from flu. Continue to keep his work condition in prayer as well as for wisdom and for smooth arrangements with his clients at the counselling centre.
  • Continue to keep Auntie Grace's broken rib in prayer.

Prayer and Thanksgiving 

  • Keep the Auntie Florence in prayer as she recuperates from her operation, pray also for Xiuxiu as she's down with fever.
  • We warmly welcome Vinson who has returned safely from his exchange program in India. He gave thanks for everyone's prayers and for God's sustenance.
  • Eema gave thanks that her health screening results were very positive.
  • Peiqi gave thanks that her dog is fine, she requested prayer for her school timetable and really hopes it does not cause a clash between her piano lessons and church on saturday
  • Serene shared about a really harrowing, taxing week, pray for her as she has another week of exams.
  • Jon requested prayer for himself as his school term starts next week.
  • Tian and Shu gave thanks for God's provision, they have both secured an internship this summer! Praise God!
  • Shu also shared about positive results for her test paper, keep her in prayer as she has projects and tests due while she prepares for exams the following weeks. In general pray for all the uni students as this will be a really trying period.
  • Michelle gave thanks that her paper during the week went well despite the lack of sufficient preparation.
  • Emmanuel requested prayer for his cough, and gave thanks for his national performance despite not qualifying.
  • Dan requested prayer for a new project that has been handed to him, he needs to complete it in short notice, pray for him as juggles this and the new family responsibility.
  • Uncle D requested prayer for his health as well, he's been down with flu/cough the past few days. Pray for him and his team as the prepare for the next project.
  • Pray earnestly for Auntie Grace as the doctors have discovered a hairline fracture on her rib.
  • Jo expressed her deep gratefulness for God's amazing blessing of the generous university fellowship.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Update
  • Pray for Selwyn as he will be off to Taiwan on NS for 3 weeks
  • Pastor and Auntie Jane will be away in Kuching for a Pastor's retreat from Mon-Thurs.
  • Pray for Pastor too as he sources for new biblical materials for the youth cell group
  • Pastor also gave thanks for God's healing as he had a rather severe bout of food poisoning on Monday - a reminder of God's goodness, preserving his health to serve for the past 6 years on Saturday's service
  • Reminder: Fund Raising for the Baptist Centre, final collection will take place next week.
  • Pray for the Uni students who are going through the final stages of the semester, a trying time of assignments and exam preparations.
  • Especially for Shu, a presentation and assignment due in reading week
  • Serene as well, two papers due on Monday, followed by exams beginning on wednesday while juggling her tuition responsibilities.
  • Michelle requested prayer for her exam paper on Thurs.
  • Pray for Jo as she awaits the funding decision from the university, which will come through by the end of the week.
  • Continue to keep Uncle D and his project team in prayer. Pray for the blessing of managerial wisdom.
  • Pray for Auntie Florence, she'll be in surgery on Tues from 1-3pm.
  • Pray for Linda as she goes for the 2nd round of her scholarship interview on Tues.
  • Continue to pray for Eema as she's recovering from her flu, pray for Anisia's toothache as well.
