Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates 

  • Xiuxiu gave thanks that she has safely arrived in Pahang. She wishes all a blessed Chinese New Year.
  • Daniel gave thanks for his class of highly motivated girls. He's glad that it has been a rewarding experience with them thus far.
  • Auntie Jane gave thanks for God's protection, especially after the heavy cement bits fell off the ceiling.
  • Jo gave thanks for God's safekeeping during her short holiday in Hong Kong. Pray for her health, as she's down with a flu.
  • Linda requested prayer protection as she goes for her motorbike circuit practical lessons.
  • Pray for Shu's sore throat and for her dad who isn't feeling very well. She gave thanks that her mum has recovered. Pray for her sister who is flying to Melbourne tonight. She requested prayer for Jasmine's auntie who has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Pray especially for the entire family, including her two daughters who are in secondary school.
  • Vinson gave thanks that he managed to complete a significant amount of work. He requested prayer as he continues to finish up his work.
  • Anisia gave thanks that her check-up went well.
  • Pastor shared about his satisfying kendo training sessions and gave thanks that his skills and training have been sufficiently preserved.
  • Eema gave thanks her brother-in-law managed to recover quickly from his heart operation. Also gave thanks for God's blessing of a brand new rice cooker. She requested prayer for her throat which isn't feeling very well.
  • Selwyn shared a word of encouragement to the church about faith, urging all to believe in God's word about possessing faith.
  • Pray for Auntie Grace as she's not feeling well, also for Emmanuel & Samuel's aching muscles. Uncle D shared how he has been encouraged by a client of his, and urged the church to continue to identify with Christ in our lives.

Prayer and Thanksgiving 

  • Keep Pastor's health in prayer as he's down with a really bad sore-throat.
  • Vinson gave thanks for God's protection even though he fell into a drain.
  • Dan gave thanks for a good first week of school, he's thankful for an obedient, diligent class.
  • Shu gave thanks that she survived her kendo camp. She also had an enjoyable time in Batam. Please pray for her wrist injury as she has a Kendo competition next sat. Pray also for her module selection exercise for the coming academic year. Lastly pray for her mum's business which begins on Monday.
  • Uncle Dave gave thanks that he passed his real estate exam!
  • Tian gave thanks for her mum's openness to prayer and for God's provision of a capable helper. Pray for Tian as she has interhall games next Saturday and it will be her first time captaining the team.
  • Serene gave thanks for many things! She had a smooth start to the new academic year, she managed to get all her desired modules. She also gave thanks for the enjoyable time, hosting and making friends with a group of students from HongKong. Lastly, she will be applying for several exchange programs in Europe, and will be praying for God's guidance in the selection and application process.
  • Anisia gave thanks that she was allocated a good obedient class for the academic year.
  • Auntie Elsie gave thanks that her eye check-up went well.
  • Michelle requested prayer for her leg injury that has taken a while to recover. Pray for healing.
  • Emmanuel too, requested prayer of healing for his cough and flu.
  • Sherwin shared about the start of his academic year and how work is beginning to stream in.
  • Continue to keep Uncle Jeff and family in prayer.
  • Pray for Auntie Grace as she will be hosting three highlevel colleagues on monday. She will also be working on preparing several presentations she has to make throughout the entire week. Lastly, pray for God's provision of a temporary secretary as her assistant goes on maternity leavefor 6 months.
  • Uncle D shared about the grim business situation and encouraged the church to trust in God for provision. Pray for his lectureship plans and for his efforts at Teen Challenge with his clients as he continues to help them.
  • Pray for Jo as she travels to HK on thurs for a short trip. She will be back on Wed. Also, she gave thanks for God's great blessing as she has been selected for a conference in Berlin.
