Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Linda gave thanks for the miracle, her band reached the finals of her school's talent competition and she has 2 weeks to prepare for the performance.
  • Pray for Dan, he's down with a sore throat
  • Pray for Joshua as well, that he'll get complete healing for his cough.
  • Ani gave thanks that there were no hiccups while she was MC for a school event.
  • Vinson gave thanks for his O'Level results and requested prayer for the next step.
  • Uncle Jeff gave thanks for prayers and the personal calm in light of the chaos during the train breakdown
  • Sherwin gave thanks for God's sustenance, particularly his hives which didn't trouble him as much. He gave thanks that he has finally completed this module and requested prayer for his next module that he'll get the blessing of a camera/partner with camera.
  • Pray for Emmanuel's 3 tests next week. Pray for his health - he's down with flu. But he gave thanks that his history test went well.
  • Pray for Jo's presentation on Monday morning and term paper submission on Friday.
  • Uncle D gave thanks that his trip was fruitful and safe. Pray for his studies - he has a paper due on the 4th of Feb, pray that he'll be able to meet expectations.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Auntie Jane gave thanks that her colleague has opened up and shown appreciation for auntie Jane's care and concern for her.
  • Dan gave thanks that he is happier at work thanks to Pastor's counsel and the provision of a good attentive class. He gave thanks that his external valuation in the past week went well and also for Eema taking charge of Joshua - giving him and Anisia the opportunity for good rest.
  • Pray for Selwyn as he's sick, continue to keep him in prayer - he returns home in a week.
  • Pray for Shu and her dad as they are both down with flu
  • Jo gave thanks for the safe and enjoyable HK trip, pray for her as she has heavy workload and needs to get started on her assignments.
  • Serene gave thanks for her quick recovery after falling ill mid-week.
  • Pray for Anisia as she is will be the MC for a parent-teachers conference this week. She had a stressful week of work, pray that this week will be better.
  • Pray for Joshua as he's down with a cough, pray also that he will start to take his formula milk.
  • Eunice shared about her stressful week at work and the hectic week ahead. Pray that she will be able to manage her workload as well as caring for baby Sean. Pray for sustenance.
  • Pray for Emmanuel as he has a Chinese and Math test this week.
  • Sherwin requested the blessing of wisdom for his mum who is considering setting up her own business. Pray for his health, particularly his dry cough, throat and hives. He needs the sustenance for a heavy work week with assignments due on Wed.
  • Continue to uphold Auntie Grace in prayer as she faces immense pressure at work. Pray that she will be a testimony for God in the midst of this trying period.
  • Pray for Uncle D as he will be away in HK for a biz trip till Saturday morning. Pray for healing for his sore throat and ulcers as well.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

  • Pray for pastor:Pending condition of his leg, he may proceed with a NRI scan that would cost over SGD 900.
  • Pray for Rena: Church is concerned and missed her attendance and fellowship. Request to uphold her in our prayers.
  • Pray for JJ:Continue to pray for him and specifically his reunion with the Church in fellowship.
  • Pray for Daniel:Thank God for the positive conversational response by his mom indicating more openness. Had a tough past wk of camp now with much backlog work. Pray for strength to cope effectively.
  • Pray for Serene: The Korean Exchange program has limited place and she has placed Mexico as her second choice. Pray for her as she has a subject tutor who displays a negative attitude towards her.
  • Pray for Shumin:She is participating in a healthy lifestyle project for kids. Load is heavy as she has to juggle her time between school, this assignment, her tuition job and sports. Thank God for some relief in her tuition job as one of her students has gone on to other educational pursuits.
  • Eunice gave thanks for God’s working in her life. Grateful for nanny-help rendered by her dad and mom. Pray for her as she starts work this coming week. Also for LeeHuat as he embarks on teaching in Bishan Centre and part-time in SgpPoly.
  • Sherwin gave thanks for sustenance as he had little sleep for the past wk. Pray for strength and wisdom in handling his projects. Also pray for healing of his medical (hives) condition.
  • Anisia had a trying wk handling her students plus other duties with the Brownies. Her students require patience and are a demanding lot. Pray for wisdom and strength to handle each situation.
  • Pray for Vinson as he is concerned for his sister after sensing her discouragement indicated by an indifferent comment about Christianity. Earnest prayers requested to cover and uphold her.
  • Rebecca misses brother Selwyn. Pray for protection for him and adjustment during this time.
  • Pray for Emmanuel as he has to select a CCA again, being in a new school this year.
  • Grace gave thanks for God’s favour that her boss granted special approval for headcount replacement, but concerned it may be taken away. Thus pray for provisions of the right persons to fill the positions soon.
  • Derrick gave thanks for prayers as he completed his 3-hr exams last Tue. Pray for for strength as he does not have a break but has to continue reading to do his next Unit major assignment due Feb3rd.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Dan shared about his hectic 1st week in school and gave thanks for a pleasant form class, he'll be away at a school camp from mon-fri. Pray for covering.
  • Pray for Jo as she travels out to HK this Wed till Sat evening. Pray for her varsity competition as well as the ability to manage school which has started.
  • Jon gave thanks that his orientation worship went well and that the response from the Christian students in college were enthusiastic. Pray for recovery as he seems to have sprained his neck and back after a vigorous performance.
  • Serene gave thanks for the opportunity to play on keys for worship. She requested prayer for her module selection, particularly her language electives which begins on monday.
  • Pray for Linda as she continues to ponder and seek God's direction on deciding if she should participate in the band.
  • Anisia shared about her rowdy class and requested prayer for the wisdom to deal with them.
  • Pray for Eunice as her workload is set to increase after a colleague resigned.
  • Tian gave thanks for the safe journey and a wonderful time in Kedah with her relatives. She gave thanks that she is satisfied with her results but will continue to put in more effort. Pray for sustenence as she endures a gruelling month of dance rehearsals.
  • Sherwin shared about how his hives gave him some breathing difficulties and thank God for the quick relief after a prayer. Pray for him as he has a heavy workload with many assignments as well as a design competition that he is participating in.
  • Pray for Xiuxiu and for wisdom as she is seeking to enroll in a beauty therapy school.
  • Pray for Emmanuel as he has to pick a CCA in his new school.
  • Pastor gave thanks that except for a slight hip injury, he is unharmed after a fall last week.
  • Pray for Uncle D who has exams this Tues from 7-10pm! Pray that he'll be able to write well and also pray for his ear infection!
  • Continue to pray for Anisia's grandma who is suffering from chest pains.

  • Jeff gave thanks for God's protection throughout the year and for Vinson as the mediator at home. He requested prayer for his family.
  • Esther thanked God for His encouragement to her to keep the faith
  • Elsie thanked God for her very happy retirement and expressed that there have been challenges to her faith this past year. Pray for wisdom in raising Josh and that Eema will let God take control.
  • Jo gave thanks for a very good year. Although this year has been challenging to her faith, she has learnt that submitting to God and trusting in Him is truly the very best way.
  • Sherwin gave thanks for a smooth year despite the uncertainty he faced and for friends that have provided him with great encouragement. Thank God for giving him strength and for sustaining him.
  • Linda thanked God for her friends and for how the gloomy and challenging first half of the year picked up and turned into a very good next half of the year. Praise God! She requests prayer for the right focus and determination for the coming year.
  • Serene gave thanks for her good grades which resulted in greater peace at home. She also thanked God for sustenence and requests prayer for a smooth application that she might be granted her heart's desire; summer studies in Korea.
  • Shu gave thanks to God for answering her prayers regarding her major and school in particular. Thank God for His faithfulness and encouragement as well throughout the trying time just before baptism. She requests prayer to be focused and to be effective for God in the coming year.
  • Vinson gave thanks to God for the break from soccer and his achievements in air rifle. More importantly, God's covering of protection from spiritual attacks. He thanked God for His sustenence throughout his 'O' levels and for the joy and sense of achievement laboring and investing in things that have eternal value.
  • Jane gave thanks for the fruitfulness for the church; two little ones Josh and Sean :) Also, for seeing jon through his schooling. She praises God for His faithfulness and is deeply encouraged by the faithfulness of the church in terms of youth, cell and church attendence.
  • Dan shared that it has been a big adjustment professionally, but thank God for His revelation through Pastor's vision that helped set the right perspective about work. Pray for the breakthrough in his spiritual walk over the cloud that he has been experiencing of late, also, for his family to grow into a strong unit, in line with God.
  • Emmanuel gave thanks to God for teaching him how to manage his time well, as well as for his teachers and good results. He requested prayer that he remains consistent in his efforts for the coming year.
  • Dave shared that it was a challenging year for him as well. But thanks be to God for maintaining his faith and for taking the step of faith to get baptised! Pray for a breakthrough financially.
  • Jon gave thanks to God that through repeating this year, he has been able to join God in other areas of His work in school that have in turned help increase his faith as well. He thanked God for his preparation and results for the promos. Choosing to bless His name no matter what, God provided a miraculous promotion! Praise God!
  • Eunice gave thanks for the blessing of baby Sean! :) God has used this pregnancy to increase her faith and has blessed her richly in her career as well! She also gave thanks for God's providence of students for Lee Huat. Pray for her as she faces new challenges in the coming year. Pray also for God's provision of a nanny and most importantly, the salvation of her family.
  • Anisia thanked God for His sustenance and for learning to submit to her husband. Thank God that she has had a good amount of work for this year and has really learnt to enjoy motherhood. Pray for the coming year as the amount of work increases, also, for God's timing for a second child and continued wisdom in bringing Josh up.
  • Derrick thanked God for the opportunity we had in sharing the gospel with Grace's family. He also thanked God for His sustenence, especially with the thrombosis. He requested prayer for Lao Gu's salvation, balance for the whole family and to be a good witness for God.
  • Sam gave thanks for his edusave good progress award.
  • Grace gave thanks for God's healing of her frozen arm and for how God saw her through her trying times in the office as well as at home. It has been an emotionally straining year for her but thank God for His encouragement through Samuel. :) Pray for her mum's salvation and for her for wisdom and strength as she continues to face a heavy workload.
  • Xiu Xiu thanked God for His protection and for increasing her faith. Praise God for sustaining her and for her trust in Him in times of crisis. Pray for a better year ahead.
