Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates


  • Eunice gave thanks for the smooth delivery of Sean and for God's covering and protection of his health.
  • Jon gave thanks that the chapel worship he led went well , he also gave glory to God for his results and gave thanks that he was promoted by the grace of God. He shared that he will be in the commitee for next year's life concert and requested prayer for a goodteam.
  • Emmanuel gave thanks for his excellent results, making it to the Top 5% of the cohort. He requested prayer that his application for a transfer will be granted according to his heart's desire.
  • Auntie Grace shared that her mum is currently in the advance stage of cancer but is responding well to treatment. She requested prayer for her mum's salvation. She also shared about her work and gave thanks for God's hand in the matter of things.
  • Pray for Uncle Derrick as he begins his 2nd term of lessons next weekend. Pray that it will be a fruitful, learning experience.
  • Tian gave thanks that her skin wounds have been completely healed! She also gave thanks for the good grade she got for her assignment.
  • Dan shared about his hectic week and requested prayer for a pleasant work schedule for this week. Pray as well that he won't be overloaded with responsibilities for the next year.
  • Pastor gave thanks that his medical check-up went well and the results were positive and healthy.
  • Pray for Jo as she has exams this wednesday morning at 930am.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Pray for Serene as she's down with food poisoning.
  • We give thanks that Eunice had a smooth delivery of a healthy and handsome baby boy!
  • Dan requested prayer for exam invigilation duties next week, pray that it will be a smooth-sailing event. He also requested prayer for his frozen shoulder problem.
  • Vinson gave thanks for the blessing - his Science practical O'Level exam was almost like his prelim paper. He requested prayer for his written geog exam this coming Friday.
  • Sherwin gave thanks that his final project came together very successfully. He gave thanks that he has a week's break before his very blessed schedule for next semester kicks in.
  • Tian requested prayer for her mum who is in China on business. Pray also for her skin wounds which opened up this week, pray that the treatment she is receiving now will be effective.
  • Pray for Samuel as he has exams this week from Mon-Thurs.
  • Shu gave thanks that tuition kid did well for her exams. She requested prayer for her sister who will be travelling to the States on Tues 7pm.
  • Emmanuel gave thanks for his exam results (6 As!) and requested prayer that his transfer application to Presb. High will be approved.
  • Auntie Elsie gave thanks that her eye check-up went well, but requested prayer for a muscle strain.
  • Pray for JJ as he has a challenging race next Saturday at 5pm. Pray for courage and confidence to tackle his hurdle!
  • Pray for Jo as her exams start this wed evening, on top of 2 papers she has to submit by the end of the week.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Pastor gave thanks for the blessing of good health despite the swelling on his nose earlier in the week.
  • Jo gave thanks that she managed to complete her 1st assignment, pray for her as she has 2 more assignments and exams to prepare for this month.
  • Serene gave thanks that she managed to complete her assignments on time. She will be going on a trip to Krabi this Dec with her ODAC mates. She also shared about her aunt that was very discouraging, pray that this negativity will not affect her.
  • Ani gave thanks that her teaching observation went well, and she had good feedback. She gave thanks as well that Joshua is coping well with the vaccination.
  • Shu gave thanks that she managed to get through a stressful week and a stressful test.
  • Sherwin gave thanks for God's many blessings on the way to church. He shared that his mum has decided to go back to church and also requested prayer for wisdom in her decision to change jobs. He requested prayer for this hectic week, as he has a huge final project due on Thurs.
  • Tian gave thanks that she did well for her Geog test, she requested prayer as she and her team source for well-priced air tickets to Cambodia this Dec.
  • Vinson requested prayer for his Science O'level exams this coming week as well as the encouraging lunch session he had with Daniel during the past week.
  • Emmanuel gave thanks that he's finally almost done with his exams, he has one last paper on Tues.
  • Pray for Daniel as well, he has a whole load of marking to complete by Tues. Pray also for the protection of the mind, that negative thoughts will be dispelled from his thinking.
  • Pray for Eunice! She is due for delivery very soon and pray for comfort and strength as she's been having contractions frequently.
  • Linda gave thanks for her promotional exam results, she did reasonably well and will be promoted to her second year.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Update
  • Continue to pray for Uncle D's DVT condition, pray that he will recover from it soon.
  • Sherwin gave thanks for his exam results, while he's set the bar pretty high for himself, he gave thanks that they were still to his satisfaction.
  • Serene gave thanks for God's safekeeping during her Desaru trip. She enjoyed it very much and felt blessed with the good company she had.
  • Keep the Uni students in prayer as they have a hectic 2 weeks ahead with tests and assignments due.
  • JJ gave thanks that he got through a tough week and requested prayer for the difficulties he is facing in his sports team, there will be a Q&A session to thrash issues out next week, pray that he'll have the wisdom and composure during the session.
  • Tian requested prayer for a test that she didn't finish doing well. Pray for mercy! She gave thanks for a good employee her parents hired to help out at the store, this has allowed them to have more free time to themselves.
  • Shu gave thanks for her great test results despite the odds!
  • Pray for Emmanuel as he has 8 papers over the next 2 weeks.
  • Eema gave thanks for God's provision of the avenues for her to seek treatment quickly for the floaters she had earlier in the week.
  • Linda gave thanks for God's sustenance throughout her promotional exams.
  • Pray for Joshua as he has an infected insect bite, pray for healing.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Pastor announced that HFC will be having a baptism ceremony this December and urged those who haven't been baptised to consider.
  • Pray for the students as they are facing the exam season:
    • Linda, Jonadab & Vinson who have papers this week
    • Emmanuel who starts on Oct 5, Friday.
    • Samuel who has english & chinese on thurs & friday.
    • The Uni students also have term papers and tests over the next 2 weeks.
  • Linda gave thanks that she has recovered significantly from a bout of flu, she requested prayer for a full recovery so that she can prepare for her exams.
  • Sherwin requested prayer for good project mates as his new term begins with a new class and new environment.
  • Dan gave thanks that as the school term nears the year's end, school has been less demanding on his time, giving him the opportunity to spend more in fellowship and with family.
  • Tian gave thanks for God's protection during her short Batam camp, in particular the protection of her skin condition.
  • Xiuxiu requested prayer work-wise as she faces a busy period preparing documents for the company's closing month in the financial year.
  • Jay requested prayer that he'll be able to balance work with his 2-week intensive track training.
  • Shu also requested prayer that she'll be able to help her tuition kids prepare sufficiently well for their examinations while balancing her school work.
  • Uncle D gave thanks that his DVT test readings came back with better results, he goes for another check up in a month's time. He gave thanks as well that his assignments for the term are all completed and submitted on time.
