Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Dan gave thanks for God's sustenance after an exhausting week. He's glad that he managed to settle the week's tasks, especially with Anisia's help grading papers. He prayed for a heart of joy to face the coming work weeks.
Serene gave thanks for safekeeping while she was in Ubin last weekend. She gave thanks that she is enjoying her lessons, and God's kind provision of an interesting module in place of the science one that she dropped.
Sherwin requested prayer for his dad who will be in Vietnam for the week and his brother who is flying back from HK on tues. He gave thanks that he managed to retrieve his wallet after dropping it at the cinema.
Vinson requested prayer as he prepares to submit his Design and Technology O'Level project by the end of the month. He requested strength to accomplish this task while he prepares for his prelims in the 2nd week of Sept.
Tian gave thanks that she managed to recover from a bout of food poisoning she had on wednesday. She requested prayer for full recovery from her skin infection with no subsequent relapses.
Beck gave thanks for a week of rest after an exhausting series of events, balancing school, work and tuition at the same time.
Samuel gave thanks that his exams are over, but requested prayer for good grades!
Shu gave thanks that she managed to obtain all the 1st choices of her tutorial slots. Despite an eventful week (e.g falling into a drain at the bus stop), she gave thanks for God's protection and requested prayer for alertness!
JJ gave thanks for God's gradual revelation of his will to him, challenging his faith especially after his interview for the exchange program on Thurs. He gave thanks that all these events have contributed to a closer love relationship with God, and requested prayer as he continues to grow and seek God's will for his life.
Uncle D shared a passage from the word - Deut Chapter 7 - as an encouragement to all. He requested prayer for sustenence, particularly for him and Auntie G. Keep Auntie Grace in your prayers work demands increase and for Uncle D as he balances school assignments and work at the same time.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Beck gave thanks for the miraculous blessing of a good samaritan who returned her wallet after she misplaced it.
Pray for Florence and her grandson, Ethan as they are down with flu.
Pastor gave thanks that his burn injury healed without a fuss.
Pray for Dan as his skin condition is acting up. He requested prayer for a good work-life balance, to focus on what is needed.
Sherwin gave thanks for God's sustenence, providing him the strength and the extra hands to finish his project. Pray for his dad and brother who will be in bangkok for the week.
Vinson gave thanks that his O'Level english oral examination topic was a great blessing to him.
Linda gave thanks that she passed her diving test and God's protection for her family. She requested prayer for a slight cough she has now.
Anisia requested prayer for her colleague who has been experiencing some problems with her pregnancy.
Shu gave thanks for the relief teaching opportunity this monday, she gave thanks for the encouragement she received in the course of the week.
Eunice shared that Lee Huat has decided to go into full-time tution. She is glad that he is happier with this decision and requests prayer for the provision of more students for him.
Uncle Jeff gave thanks for his recovery from his throat ulcer and encouraged the church on the importance of believing and trusting in God.
Pray for Samuel as he has exams from tues to friday this week.
Uncle D requested prayer for his assignment, that he'll have a clear mind and a smooth writing process.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Serene gave thanks for a good first week at school. She gave thanks that despite a last minute effort, she still managed to obtain modules to her liking.
Eunice gave thanks that the baby is doing well but requested prayer for her backaches. She also requested prayer for Lee Huat who is thinking of a career switch to full-time tutoring.
Beck requested prayer for her new tuition kid who is proving to be a touch challenge as he is a weak student. He keeps to himself and doesn't talk much, pray that Beck will be able to connect and communicate with him.
Sherwin gave thanks that his mum manage to join us for service and the bbq! He requested prayer for his dad who is flying off on the 19th for 2wks. He requested prayer as well for his final project that is very challenging.
Tian gave thanks that she managed to postpone her forum to attend service. But the forum issue will return to trouble her in September, till then we pray that God will provide a solution.
Shu gave thanks for God's faithful encouragement throughout the course of the week. She gave thanks for God's provision of an additional tuition kid. She praise God that she managed to secure all her modules rather easily this semester and gave thanks for her Mum's participation in the bbq!
Pray for JJ as he tries to reach out to his friend, Andrea .

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Beck gave thanks for God's protection due to a near accident while driving to church.
Sherwin gave thanks that his dad returned safely, but requested prayer as he will be flying off to Thailand this week for a fortnight. In addition, due to his camera malfunction, his dad is having problems finishing up a project report. Sherwin also requested prayer for his mum and brother who are away on a cruise, he gave thanks for God's sustenance as he rushed to meet a last minute deadline in the week.
Shu gave thanks that she has managed to secure 4 out of 5 modules, she gave thanks as well that her sister has found accomodation in Australia.
Pray for Joshua as he goes for his vaccination this week. Anisia's students will also be participating in Sports Day this week, and she hopes for a smooth run of events.
Tian gave thanks that she managed to find a friend to co-head the expedition team. She is in need of one more to co-lead and prays for God's provision. She gave thanks that Daming managed to join us for service this week!
Pray for Emmanuel as he has a sore right ankle due to soccer and needs to recover for a cross-country run on Tuesday.
Dan gave thanks that he managed to avoid a near accident with a pedestrian. School has been fine for him thus far, but he requested prayer for good night's sleep.
Pray for Auntie Elsie as she battles a dry throat, pray for healing.
Pray for Uncle D too as he has been experiencing swelling in his leg and throat pains.
