Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Sherwin gave thanks for God's greatness, helping him catch the last buses back home after working late in school. He requested prayer for his clay sculpture and hopes that it will be sturdy enough, pray also for his dad who will be flying to Penang from Mon-Wed. Finally, he gave thanks for his first distinction in his course thus far.
Shu gave thanks that she managed to recover from illness after a night of prayer and rest. She gave thanks for the blessing of a relief teaching opportunity.
Pray for the NUS students as bidding for modules begins Monday.
Serene gave thanks for the 2 contests she managed to win in a day. On top of the blessings, pray for her as she embarks on a 7-day hall orientation program from mon, she will be staying alone in her cousin's absence - pray for the peace of God and no fear!
Pray for Joshua who is still battling a cough since last sunday, pray that Anisia will have wisdom in caring for him and administering the medication.
Vinson gave thanks that he managed to recover miraculously to lead worship after falling ill on friday night.
Beck requested prayer for her dad who will be travelling pretty often for the next few weeks. She gave thanks for the blessing of the Reseach Assitant job.
Pray for JJ as he applies for the overseas program, it requires him to write a short essay as well as to source 2 recommendation letters from referees.
Eunice gave thanks that her temporary bladder problem was resolved and requested prayer for the provision of a good, experienced christian nanny that is near her place.
Rina requested prayer for the emotional recovery of a colleague who suffered a mishap recently. Pray that she will recover soon to help alleviate Rina's workload.
Emmanuel gave thanks for the blessing of great exam results, he scored distinctions for both Lit and Math!
Miche has found accomodation in Australia, but is sharing the house with 2 other devout hindus. Pray that they will be able to get along, as well as for covering.
Uncle D was unfortunately locked out of the university's website, pray that the technicians will be able to resolve this issue for him to log on asap.
Auntie G shared about the tough challenging time she's been having in the office. We give thanks that she is still standing and going strong. She shared with the church Psalms 27 as an encouragement for those facing challenges and crises.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Florence gave thanks for the safe trip to Jakarta and back despite being caught in a massive traffic jam over there.
Auntie Elsie gave thanks for God's miraculous healing, alleviating her sore throat and aching arm, giving her the opportunity to attend the Baptist Family Day. She requested prayer for complete healing of her sore throat.
Please pray for Beck's mum who is down with conjunctivitis. She requested prayer for her brother who has a swollen hand after removing some metal plates due to a previous fracture. Please pray for her Dad's new business as well that it will run smooth.
Pray for the NUS students as they have to start their module selection exercise this week. Pray for wisdom for those who are deliberating their major.
Pray for Ani and the two challenging students she has in class. Pray for patience and wisdom to be able to deal effectively with these two boys.
Tian gave thanks that her skin condition is steadily recovering. She requested prayer for her missing hamster and her friend Daming who seems to have an open heart.
Serene gave thanks that her orientation program went well. She requested prayer for her hall problems that she has to iron out with her cousin as well as a friend she made during orientation that she hopes to reach out to.
Sherwin requested prayer for his dad who has to fly off to Vietnam for another trip. He gave thanks that his assignments are over and he has a short breather to rest before the next load of assignments.
Dan requested prayer for his health and his muscle aches after an afternoon of soccer under the sun.
Vinson gave thanks that his soccer trial went well and that he has recovered from his rashes.
Emmanuel requested prayer for his 4 tests this week.
Uncle Derrick requested prayer as he begins a post-graduate course in counselling this week. Pray that he will be able to cope and digest the new bulk of knowledge.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Dan shared that work was hectic and requested prayer for his health. He also gave thanks for a recent pay revision.
Pray for Serene as she has her orientation camp this week.
Ani gave thanks for yet another perfomance bonus! She requested prayer for her cousin Clarabelle and sister who just travelled to the States.
Tian gave thanks for an eventful week: God's provision of a tuition job that is near campus, the blessing of healing as her skin condition has improved by a huge margin and more importantly, God's constant assurance and nurturing through this trying time for her.
Vinson gave thanks for God's protection during soccer and requested prayer for a soccer trial he'll be attending with Sean. He hopes to be able to reach out to Sean through this event.
Linda gave thanks that the pain from her injury has lessened, allowing to her to still play her game over the weekend.
Pray for Samuel as he takes his NAPFA (Physical Fitness) test this Tues.
Sherwin gave thanks that his dad is safely back from his business trip and requested prayer for God's continual sustenence as he has a more demanding week ahead in school.
Eunice shared that her check-up went well, and gave thanks that a recent car accident at her carpark did not result in any serious injury.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Dan met with a parent this week and gave thanks that he was able to handle the situation well. He also gave thanks that he and Ani managed to obtain leave to attend his convocation ceremony.
Ani shared that although she still has to attend the upcoming brownies camp, she's glad that she doesn't have to stay in.
Serene decided to quit both her part-time jobs and gave thanks for this arrangement.
Sherwin gave thanks for God's sustenance as he managed to finish his assignments despite the lack of sleep. He requested prayer for his dad who will be in Vietnam till Fri and will continue to fly every 2 weeks.
Beck requested prayer for her brother as he prepares for his competition this week. She gave thanks for a blessing of a part-time job as a research assistant.
Eunice had an eventful week and gave thanks that Lee Huat finished his camp training safely. She gave extra thanks for the unexpected blessing of a perfomance bonus.
Eema gave thanks that she managed to recover from a frozen shoulder in the course of one week.
Continue to pray for Tian as she has yet to recover from her insect bites and is now battling an additional bout of rashes.
Jo gave thanks for the safe Penang trip, but requested prayer for her flu.
Miche gave thanks that she managed to resolve a family issue as well as a last minute hiccup concerning her modules. She has reached Adelaide safely, pray that she'll be able to settle in quickly and comfortably.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Pray for Lloyd's sister and family as they are in JB now to be with her mother-in-law who unfortunately suffered a relapse in her pancreatic cancer. Keep the family in prayer.
Pray for Lloyd as he makes his way back to the States this Tueday evening.
Linda shared with the church about the trying week she had and the stress she went through but gave thanks for the encouraging reminders that God will carry all her burdens.
Anisia gave thanks for a smooth 1st week in school despite the weaker class. She requested prayer that she'll be able to skip the brownie camp event as it'll be rather inconvenient for her. She also gave thanks for a supportive principal who recommended her for promotion. Lastly, she gave thanks for the help from Uncle Estee and Eema in caring for Joshua.
Sherwin gave thanks that he is recovering from his stomach problems after seeing the doctor during the week. Pray for him as he has an assignment due on Tuesday.
Eema requested prayer for her backache as well as strength to care for Joshua.
Pray for Jo as she travels up to Penang. Pray for safety and comfort as she travels up on Sunday night and returns on Thurs evening.
Pray for Eunice as her workload increases after new targets set by her boss. Pray that she'll be able to meet these targets despite being tight on time.
Daniel gave thanks for a spirit of positivity despite the heavy workload, pray that he'll be able to manage his given duties.
Serene requested prayer in making a decision over the 2 jobs she currently holds. She's contemplating giving both up.
Pray for Uncle D, although the doctor has highlighted that his condition is stable, the swelling and pain still hasn't subsided. Pray for recovery.
Pray for Rina's mum as well as she recently tore her ligament.
