Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Please keep our brothers and sisters’ health in prayer:

• Especially for Uncle D, he is currently warded in Mt. Alvernia Hospital after doctors discovered a clot in his leg. Pray for complete healing
• Pray for Tian’s infected insect bites
• Pray for Uncle Jeff, Emmanuel, Auntie Jane that they will recover from their flu.
• We give thanks that Joshua, Linda and Shu managed to recover in the middle of the week.
• Eunice gave thanks that her health has improved but requested continual prayer of covering.

• Vinson shared that he has been selected for an upcoming air rifle competition.
• Tian requested prayer for God’s wisdom and direction as she needs to make a major decision soon with regards to leading her hostel’s expedition mission next year.
• Keep the JC students in prayer i.e. Jon and Linda as they take their mid-year exams this week.
• Miche gave thanks that her sister has returned safely from Europe. She requested prayer for smooth preparations as she leaves for Australia in 2 weeks
• JJ gave thanks that Jon managed to recover from his allergic reaction in Kuantan and gave thanks that he met great colleagues during his short stint with Discovery. He requested prayer that he’ll be able to work longer with Discovery.
• Pray for Anisia as she returns back to teach this Monday after a long break. Pray that she’ll be able to handle this new challenge that has been given to her.
• Eunice requested prayer for God’s will – career wise as she is facing a trying time in the office with 3.5mths left till her maternity leave.
• Auntie Elsie gave thanks that God put her fears to rest and was with the entire family all the way during the trip to Kuantan.

• Pray for Dan's health as he had a sudden bout of fever and sore throat mid-week. Pray for a quick recovery before he leaves for church camp.
• Although Auntie May was pickpocketed, thank God that her important cards and documents were returned via post.
• Vinson gave thanks for the encouragement he received that kept him going inspite of a harrowing day, on top of that, he managed a personal best for his air rifle competition.
• Pray for Sherwin's dad and mum as they travel to Bangkok for a week. In their absence, pray for his grandma who will be alone at home with the maid and his brother.
• Eunice gave thanks for her brother's successful eye operation. She shared on behalf of Constance who gave thanks to God for the opportunity to go to Vietnam for community work. Keep Eunice's health in prayer as she fell sick mid-week. She hopes to avoid taking anymore medication. Pray as well for her detailed pregnancy scan this coming Tues.
• Shu gave thanks that she managed to pass her advanced theory test. She requested prayer for her dad who has been having frequent leg cramps as well as for her sister who has some work difficulties with her 3 month visa.
• Anisia gave thanks that for the blessing of income this June after a long period of no-pay leave.
• Pray for Emmanuel as he isn't feeling too well, pray that he'll recover before the camp. On top of that, his nose review went well.
• Auntie G gave thanks that she managed to avoid retrenchment but requested prayer for her heavier workload. She also requested prayer for her wisdom tooth that is giving her slight discomfort after seeing the dentist.

• Linda gave thanks for the nice blessing of a spankin new notebook from her mum!
• Pray for Eunice's brother - Zachary as he will be going for an urgent eye operation today to rectify a serious retinal problem.
• Pastor reminded the church to pray earnestly for each other's safety and protection.
• Continue to pray for Shu's sister - Shuhan as she searches for ideal lodging. Thank God for an understanding boss who has been very supportive.
• Pray for Selwyn's hand that has been hurting due to an old injury and it's hampering him from training for his upcoming canoeing competition.
• Continue to keep Lloyd's sister and her three kids in prayer as they make the long journey back to Singapore from the States. Pray for their safety and protection.
