Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

- Praise and dedicate the new year to God as we welcome 2007 together.
- Jon and Pastor gave thanks that they managed to recover fast from a virulent flu attack.
- Pray for Miche's mum who is away in Sabah till the 3rd of Jan 2007.
- Miche gave thanks that she managed to obtain her modules for next semester rather easily.
- Jo gave thanks to God for her results that qualified her to write a thesis, pray that God will inspire her to decide on a thesis topic soon. She also sought prayer for God's direction with regards to the 2nd round of the n*ational t*rial she'll be going for next week.
- She requested prayer as well for 2 of her good friends who left recently for a 6mth exchange program in Europe. Pray that God will help them find their footing easily and adjust to life there quickly.
- Shu gave thanks that her parents turned up for carolling at Uncle Estee's place. She gave thanks for the increasing openness and acceptance in their hearts and continues to seek the breakthrough.
- Shu also requested a good timetable for next semester, hopefully God-willing, it'll allow her free time to help in caring for Joshua.
- Tian shared as well about her parents new fengshui arrangements in her home and the drawings her dad made at home, pray that one day all these will be removed as well.
- Dan gave thanks for his results as well as the blessing of loving grandparents who helped and aided Anisia in caring for Joshua.
- Eunice gave thanks that her parents and god-parents returned safely from their respective holidays. She thanked God that she managed to recover from a flu attack earlier in the week. She particularly requested prayer for her workload as the shortage of manpower and tight deadlines are adding on to the stress. Pray for health and the ability to manage her tasks.
- Pray for Uncle Derrick and the family maid, Rini as they battle the flu bug. Pray for speedy recovery. We also thank God that Rini has also accepted Christ!

- Pray for Auntie Jane as she takes charge of the department from the 18th to the 20th of Dec. Pray that everything will be fine during these 2 days.
- Pray for Xiuxiu who is visiting her hometown of Pahang this week.
- Pray for our carolling project as we source for a suitable venue in between Uncle Derrick and Uncle Estee's place.
- Daniel gave thanks for the wonderful blessing of Joshua and the amazing revelation and insights God has provided him in his new found fatherhood.
- Continue to pray for Anisia's quick healing as she recuperates from the delivery. Joshua as well as he has a slight case of jaundice.
- Shumin and Miche gave thanks for God seeing them through a busy week, Miche in particular for the smooth night cycling. Keep Miche in your prayers as she'll be away in camp from Mon- Wed.
- Serene gave thanks for the training she's been receiving at work. Its been good so far, pray that she'll be able to learn the ropes fast.
- Continue to pray for Auntie Grace in Moscow, particularly for good weather.

- All praise and thanksgiving to God for the smooth and successful delivery of Joshua Teng. Both mother and child are healthy, and we all share in the joy of God's wonderful gift to Daniel and Anisia.
- Keep Auntie Elsie's fingers in prayer that they will recover fast so that she will be able to help take care of the baby.
- Serene gave thanks for a safe 1 day trip to Kota Tinggi with Jeremy.
- Uncle Jeff gave thanks as well that he managed to complete the 10km Marathon.
- Pray for Uncle Derrick as he will be away on a business trip till Thurs.
- Keep Auntie Grace in prayer as well as she flies off to freezing cold Moscow on Friday. Pray for good transition and peace in her work matters that she'll be taking over.
- Pray for Xiuxiu as she's going back to Malaysia for a week till the 22nd of Dec.
- Continue to pray for the His Family Carolling project, for Shu and Jon who are organizing the event as well as God's provision of venues.

- Keep Xiuxiu and Eunice in your prayers as they are both unwell.
- Praise God as Vinson has almost recovered from his flu.
- Thank God Miche has recovered from her headaches. She has made the effort to visit her relatives and friends recently. Pray for her Uncle and Aunt who will be travelling to Yunnan next week as well as a cousin's childhood friend who has cancer.
- Thank God as well that Dan and Auntie Elsie had quick recoveries from their flu.
- Pray for Uncle Estee who will be accompanying his sister back to Malaysia over the coming weekend, he leaves on Friday by train
- Dan gave thanks for God's provision of a new tuition student. Pray that he'll be able to motivate and minister to him.
- Keep the Uni girls in prayer (except for Shu) who have papers Mon-Thurs.
- Tian shared how she found her paper challenging, pray that she will be graciously granted favourable results. She gave thanks as well that her mum is back safely from China.
- Shu shared as well that she's glad her exams are over. She shared with the church Psalms 94:19 as a form of encouragement. She also gave thanks that her sister is slowly opening up and has been nicer to her of late.
- Serene gave thanks that Jeremy's operation went smoothly without any side-effects.
- Anisia gave thanks as well that her checkup went well.
- Bryan requested prayer for a good posting after he finishes his tekong training this week. Pray that he'll get one near his home.
- Pray for Uncle Derrick who has been experiencing discomfort in his back region.
