Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Pastor reminded the congregation to guard against their emotions, particularly anger and bitterness. Keep praying for one another to prevent the evil one from attacking this particular area.
Pray for Serene as her A' Levels begins this Thurs, 2nd Nov. She has papers daily from the 13th to 17th, and her last paper will be on the 22nd of Nov.
Pray for Linda and Sherwin as well. their O'Levels begins next week and will end on the 20th of this Month.
Keep Linda in your prayer as she battles a flu. Pray for speedy recovery.
Continue to pray for Miche/Tian and Jo as they have assignments due on Friday.
Jo also gave thanks for the good result she obtained for her paper as well as for God's unfailing encouragement for her.
Ani gave thanks that her check-up went smoothly.
Pray for Emmanuel as he will be away at a school camp from Mon-Wed.
Pray for Samuel as well as he'll be having his exams from Mon-Thurs.
Continue to keep Auntie Grace in your prayers as she has a super duper high stress shipment she must accomplish by Friday. Pray for her as well as she will be travelling often from now on. She leaves for Indonesia this Sun.
Uncle D gave thanks for a pleasant Shanghai trip but continue to pray for Gods grace in his work.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Pray for Florence, Rena and Darren who are away in Japan on a short holiday.
Pray for Pastor as he has to co-ordinate a tournament next Sunday.
Shu gave thanks for the encouragement she received that helped calm her nerves before she took her test on Friday. Continue to pray for her sister's safety in the US.
Auntie Elsie gave thanks for the wonderful Ladies' Fellowship they had, as well as God's goodness in always fufilling her heart's desire!
Pray for Ani as she has a check-up this Thurs, 26th Oct at 3pm. She also gave thanks for the good break she had during the PSLE marking period.
Pray for Eunice as she'll be having her work appraisal over the next 2 weeks! Pray for a favourable result!
Pray for Uncle D as he'll be away in Shanghai from Tues till Saturday.
Keep Tian in your prayers as she has a really hectic week ahead with loads of submission deadlines and presentations. She gave thanks that God lessened her workload by providing blessings along the way to relieve the stress in the past week.
Pray for wisdom for Vinson as he ponders if he should take up the under-18 soccer opening
Pray for Linda as she has a sore throat
Keep Sherwin's practical exam results in your prayers due to the worrying, peculiar results he obtained in the exam.
Pray for Dan as he has an assignment due this Monday, 23 Oct.
Pray for Jo and Miche as they both have a paper due this Friday.
Continue to pray for Jo as she works on her other papers due this semester, pray for favourable results for her first paper.
Miche gave thanks as well that her headache on Friday night subsided enough for her to make the trip home to rest.
Bryan gave thanks that he survived field camp! He gave thanks as well for God's presence and answered prayer that helped him recover from his muscle pull and finished his field camp training.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Jo gave thanks that her presentations for the semester are all over, continue to pray as she works on her term papers, the first one is due this Tuesday. Pray that the thoughts will flow and she will be able to write.
Dan gave thanks for his results, continue to pray as he has 2 assignments due this week.
Pray for Linda and Sherwin as they have their O Level Science Practical exam on the 19th
Pray for Ani that the student mishap will blow over soon, pray that the doctor's report for the girl will be positive.
Sherwin shared with the church over how he's gotten over his prelim results, and the blessing of an ipod shuffle he won in a lucky draw.
Eunice gave thanks for a blessed 4 weeks in Europe! On top of the lovely holiday and the ability to cope with her work, she managed to attend the church services over there.
Pastor gave thanks as well for the dental care he received for the past ten years, especially with his recent molar extraction, pray for quick recovery.
Pray for Vinson as he has a sprained toe.
Emmanuel gave thanks for the church's prayers as his PSLE exams are over!
Continue to pray for Miche and Shu as they have to submit their term test paper on Monday 12pm.
Shu also gave thanks for a blessed family celebration for her dad's birthday.
Tian gave thanks that God saw her thru a hectic week in school, continue to pray as she has several project outlines to submit next week on top of her other activities and commitments.
Continue to pray for Xiuxiu as well as work has been tedious, keep her father-in-law in prayer as well as he is still weak.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Continue to pray that the haze will lighten up so that it will not affect our health. Pray that members will have wisdom to take care of themselves during this hazy time.
Pray for Vinson as well, he has 3 major Exam papers on Monday 9 OCt.
Miche gave thanks that her oral & project proposals went well. Continue to pray for better time management as the assignments pile up.
Continue to uphold Lloyd in prayer, he has a church evangelistic event coming up in early Nov. It's the first time they're having such an event so pray for the planning committee and invited guests. Pray that he'll be able to cope with his work & teaching at the same time. Particularly for wisdom as he sets a test paper for his students. He also requested prayer for his China friend, Mac whom he is reaching out to and who is very receptive. Lastly pray for his spiritual spiritual refreshement as he has been struggling with his quiet time.
Shu gave thanks for the healing of her eye irritation. She gave thanks as well that her assignment grades are improving positively as well as the opportunity to meet up with Michelle Tay.
Jo gave thanks as well that her presentation went well, continue to pray for her as she has another presentation this Thurs (12/10) morning at 9am and for her papers that she has to start writing soon.
Emmanuel gave thanks that his maths paper was fine, continue to pray for him as he takes his last PSLE paper on Monday.
Pray for Samuel as well as he has an oral examination next week!
Continue to pray for Victor who just underwent a nasal operation, pray for quick recovery and the alleviation of the post-op pain.
Continue to pray for Xiuxiu as she found herself caught in a very trying situation of how to help her father-in-law, who is not in good health. Continue to support her in prayer as well as her workload in the office as her Co is preparing to go public.
Uncle D is reaching out to his Thai colleague, continue to pray that she will find the truth. Continue to pray for his career development.
We also give all thanks and praise to God for His divine intervention and keeping Tian safe from all harm. Continue to pray for full recovery from this incident so that Tian will not have any long term effect or scarring on her. Please continue to pray for Tian, Miche and their room-mates/friends who stay in hall.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Continue to pray for Bryan who is serving his NS, we hope to see him in church soon!
Pray for Eunice in Germany that she'll be able to cope and complete her tasks, pray that as Lee Huat flies over to join her soon, they'll be able to have a great time over there.
Dan gave thanks that he is on the way to overcoming a throat infection he suffered early in the week. Pray for full recovery as well as for his assignment that is due on Monday.
Ani had a successful check up, continue to pray for the protection of mother and child. Praise God as her children's day event was a success.
Pray for Jo as she has a presentation coming up this week on Thurs from 4 to 7 pm.
Pray for the uni girls as they have assignments and tests coming up. For Miche and Shu who have an assignment due on Monday, pray they'll be able to cope and complete them.
Miche has a French oral exam this Thurs at 5pm.
Continue to pray for Lloyd as he balances his work and church commitments.
Pray for Shu's mum who has a sore throat as well as for a challenging term paper that she has to complete for a non-examinable module. She also has weird micro organisms growing on her fridge door, pray they don't contaminate the food!
Its the exam period once again: Emmanuel has his PSLEs from Wednesday to next week Monday, Jon's promotional exams from the 3rd to 6th October, Vinson's from the 2nd to 10th of October.
Particularly for Sherwin and Linda, the prelims are over but the papers and results will be back next week. Pray for God's favour.
Continue to pray for Serene as she prepares for her A'Levels, she gave thanks as well for the encounter with a enthusiastic Christian brother who was an encouragement to Jeremy and Serene.
Pray for Victor (Vinson's bro) as he is scheduled for a 'major' nose operation on 6th Oct.
Florence requests prayer for her son Darren who is taking his 'N' level exam this week.
