Prayer and Thankgiving Updates
  • Miche gave thanks for the 1 week breather the uni girls will have from school. She requested prayer for 2 friends who will be flying off to Warwick, England for overseas studies on Monday night at 1130pm. She also requested prayer for her computer who is plagued by viral problems that hinders her from getting work done.
  • Dan gave thanks for God's provision, having collected his new car this week. He shared how he needs to get used to all the ferrying around, especially with a pregnant Ani!
  • Tian gave thanks for a fantastic Terry Fox run last weekend, her dad was fine despite some initial pains after the run.
  • Shu gave thanks for God's active provision for her heart's desire, particularly for the provision of a new tuition kid, as well as the swopping of worship duties with Daniel so she can cope with her test.
  • Pray for Anisia as she goes for a check-up on Thurs. She's also in the Children's Day committee, so pray that they're preparations for the event on Fri will be a success. She also gave thanks how a teacher aid for her class' autistic child is helping to take the workload off her.
  • Elsie gave thanks that her super nanny course did not interupt with this Sat's service, pray that the timing of subsequent lessons will be altered as well so that she can come to church!
  • Jo gave thanks for the little bits of encouragement she received in a trying week. Continue to pray for her so that she will be able to cope with her work and assignments coming up.
  • Sherwin's grandma is in a better condition, but the clots are still persistant. He gave thanks that the Prelims went pretty well but requests prayer that he'll be able to pass his maths.
  • Emmanuel requests prayer for his flu and chest pains, pray for healing so that he can concentrate on his preparations for his PSLE.
  • Pray for Jon as he has his promotional exams in 8days. Pray for health.
  • Pray for Florence's health as well as she has been having feverish chills, perhaps due to work stress or her anti-malaria medicine.
  • Pray for for wisdom as Uncle Derrick explores his new career developments.

Prayer and Thankgiving Updates
  • Daniel gave thanks for God's provision and work in his life.
  • Tian gave thanks that God granted her desire to join her hall's expedition to Cambodia. She also shared how her quiet time has been very relevant to her of late.
  • Shu shared how Ulzii, the Mongolian girl who joined us for a while, is seeking to serve God in Laos. Pray for her that she'll be able to find good contact persons over there.
  • Pray for Emmanuel's health as he prepares for his PSLE. He gave thanks that his listening comprehension went well.
  • Pray for Miche as well as she juggles the decisions she has to make for hall activities and her 2 tests coming up this week.
  • Pray for all the students Primary-JC, as they will be having their major examinations in 2 weeks time. Particularly for Sherwin and Linda who will be having their preliminary exams from this Wed to next week Wed.
  • Pray for Shu as well as she has a test this week.
  • Pray for Jo as she struggles with her heavy workload and her health. Pray that she'll be able to prioritize and manage the things that are important. Pray as well that her wisdom tooth will behave itself!
  • Uncle Jeff shared with us about how we can all battle the goliaths in our lives. So have faith and trust God everyone!

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates
  • Dan, Ani and Auntie Elsie gave thanks for the well rested short trip they had in Batam.
  • Pray for Eunice as she'll be flying to Germany for 5 weeks. Pray that she will not be overloaded with work over there and she'll be able to manage her given tasks. However, she thanked God that she managed to complete all her work in Singapore before flying over. Pray for Lee Huat as well, as he'll be joining her in her last week to tour Europe.
  • Eunice also gave thanks that her mum seems to be showing some signs of acceptance!
  • Vinson shared about the migraine attack he had on Saturday morning that almost prevented him from attending church. Thank God he made it in the end.
  • Uncle Jeff also gave thanks that he managed to recover from his conjuctivitis in the one week of MC the doctor gave him.
  • Pray for Sherwin's grandma who is in hospital with blood clots in her left leg. He also gave thanks that his mum is going back to church!
  • Pray for Auntie Elsie's youngest sister who is flying off to Perth on the 25th.
  • Pray for Tian as she has to deal with her parents nagging her about church activities. She also has to make a decision over touch rugby, pray for an alternative and wisdom to make the decision.
  • Pray for Emmanuel as he has his PSLE listening compre this Friday 15th Sept.
  • Auntie Grace gave thanks that she sailed through the difficult week despite the hiccups.
  • Pray for Pastor that he will experience God's healing power so that he doesn't need to go for another operation on his ankle.

  • Florence gave thanks that she had a good eye opening experience in Cambodia.
  • Auntie Elsie gave thanks for the timely early-retirement that served to be a blessing in disguise for her.
  • Thank God that Anisia's check up was a positive one.
  • Pray for Auntie Grace as she has a hectic week ahead, she also requests for God's covering as she entertains guests as well as her work.
  • Pray for Uncle Jeff and Vinson's sister, Victoria who are both down with sore eyes.
  • Shu gave thanks for the cross her mum bought for her - a sign of her mum's increasing acceptance.
  • Pray for Bryan as he'll be entering NS this weekend and will only be back to join us 3 weeks later on the 30th of Sept.
  • Continue to pray for Pastor's ankle, as he ponders over the decision whether he should go for another surgery.
